Welcome to the Faith and Justice Team page!  In the coming days, we hope to post resources and links, announcements and events that we pray and hope will make a difference in our nation and our world, particularly as regards issues of race, violence, and extrajudicial killings.  If you want to be on the Faith and Justice Team, simply email the church attn: Cedric Lawson and you can be added to our email list.

COMING SOON!  On July 13, the March on Washington Film Festival returns to Washington, D.C. for its fifth year.
Founded in 2013 on the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, the Festival features film screenings, discussions with filmmakers, performances, and panels on the groundbreaking activism of the 1960s as well as the movement’s current work towards justice and equality. The festival uses the power of film, music, scholarship, and the arts to honor the untold stories and unsung heroes of the civil rights movement.
The fifth anniversary edition of the Festival will include programming on civil rights activism on college campuses, women’s leadership of the movement, and civil rights and social protest. Special guests and speakers include Diahann Carroll, Vanita Gupta, President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights; and Former Attorney General Eric Holder.
