Audio & Video Producer (Part-Time)

Time: An average of 2 hours per week in-person on Sundays

Purpose: As a growing church, we aim to bring our religious services into the homes of our dedicated congregation that watches from Michigan, Texas, Louisiana, the DMV, and beyond. Ideally, we're looking for a freelancer who can help us improve our live streaming setup to provide a better experience to our viewers and who can set up and engineer sounds for optimal in-person and online quality.

 Responsibilities:

• Amplify our current setup: We currently have a basic PTZ camera, microphones, and amps at our disposal. We need a professional to recommend enhancements or additions for better video and audio quality.
• Mixing sounds during live streaming: We currently have piano, drums, bass guitar, organ (on occasion), various mics for singing and speaking (wired, wireless, lavalier).
• Primarily religious service streaming: Our main goal is to stream religious services. Therefore, experience in handling such scenarios will be an advantage.
• Training volunteers: We’d love to grow our volunteer base. The AV Producer would allow volunteers to shadow them and teach them how to fill in for them in their absence.
  

Regular Time Commitment:

Sundays from 9:30am-11:30am (2 hours)

 Additional Notes from the Senior Pastor: 

We just got a PTZ Camera installed and an upgrade to our sound system. We are currently streaming with Streamyard on a laptop but are looking to upgrade to a multiscreen desktop format that uses OBS Studio or something comparable.

The AV Director will get first call for any funerals or weddings, and that pay will be the agreed upon hourly setting.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in live streaming setups and equipment, including PTZ camera and multiple mic feeds
• Experience with live audio production
• Familiarity with religious settings is a plus.
• Love and respect for people
• Ability to organize, coordinate, and motivate technical team members.
• Dependable, responsible, self-motivated and creative

Current Salary: Starting at $85/hr + additional compensation for funerals, weddings, and extra programs or rehearsals.
