DIVINE AFFIRMATION SUNDAY with Riverside Baptist Church DC

Join us on Sunday, June 2nd as we celebrate the beautiful intersections of Blackness, Queerness, and Spirituality. There will be special music and an uplifting message by Rev. Mia M. McClain, Senior Pastor. Following worship, we will welcome Rev. Karmen Michael Smith, author of Holy Queer: The Coming Out of Christ, for a Book Talk immediately following service. Refreshments provided!

HUBU, LLC is an organization that provides safe spaces for the Black LGBTQIA+ community
through curated healing focused events, forums and resources. One of their goals is to amplify the understanding that Black queer individuals are seen and cherished by a higher power irrespective of societal or religious judgement.
