Join us this summer as we lean into some cool topics in our midweek bible study!
July 10 | July 24 | August 7 | August 21
Where the Bible Meets Us is an opportunity to explore the ways our sacred texts intersect with our daily lives in some unique ways. Our July sessions will focus on food and faith, guided by our Ministry Intern, Minister Kimberly Broome. In addition to having an extensive background in childhood education, Minister Broome is also a pastry chef and is passionate about linking our relationship with food to our faith. In August, Our Ministry Fellow, Minister B. Leah will guide us through the biblical connections to contemplative practices and offer some unique ways of communing with and interpreting the divine. Minister B. Leah has a background in contemplative practices, social work, poetry, and counseling. Rev. Mia will co-lead a few sessions in partnership with our fellow and intern.
THIS IS A VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITY! Join us from wherever you are.
