Join us for Epiphany Sunday! Epiphany is celebrated on the Sunday between January 2 and January 8. The feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord commemorates when Jesus Christ was revealed as the Messiah. The Gospel of Matthew recounts that three wise men from the East visited our savior after his birth and acknowledged him with gifts representing kingship, priesthood, and death. The Feast of the Epiphany highlights key themes in the story of Jesus and the visit of the Magi. These themes help us understand the importance of Jesus’ birth and His mission for all people.

You may not be able to get to New Orleans in the time between Epiphany and Mardi Gras but if you still want to celebrate, there’s a sweet tradition you can eat anywhere: king cake. King cakes are associated with the Christian holiday of Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day, which historically marks the arrival of the three wise men/kings (Biblical Magi) in Bethlehem who delivered gifts to the baby Jesus. Sometimes, they’re called Epiphany cakes. King cakes are not always technically cakes; some are more bread-like, while others may resemble a pastry.

Join us for Worship at 10am!

Join us for a King Cake and Vision Board Party at 11:15am!
